Everyone has the opportunity to view presentations and documents, download them, and reuse them for their personal use.
Some things that you can do on SlideShare:
- Upload presentations publicly and privately
- Download presentation on any topic and reuse or personalize them to fit their needs
- Share on social networks (i.e. Facebook and Twitter)
- Leadshare: generate business leads
- Slidecast: sync mp3 audio with slides to create a webinar.
- Embed YouTube videos inside SlideShare presentations
I've used SlideShare before for an undergraduate course and enjoyed it very much. It's a great tool to use to share presentations with others, in a quick and easy way. I've also found many informational presentations that I could use and share with my students.
Here's a link to a presentation I've done using SlideShare:

del.icio.us:
Delicious.com is a useful tool to use when saving, organizing, and remembering the links you find interesting and useful around the web. Delicious is a free website that allows you to save what you love on the web in one place. It's simple to create a collection of links, basically creating your own search engine. You have the option to organize your links- so it's easier to find. Delicious also allows you to save articles and songs for later use as well.
I am currently using del.icio.us to save all the websites and resources that I've found throughout the years. As a teacher, you are constantly on the look out for strategies, resources, and tools that could be used in the classroom, and del.icio.us allows me to save everything I've found in one place. Awesome tool!

Weebly for Education:
Weebly
for Education is a great tool for teachers and students. Weebly is perfect for
creating classroom websites, making e-portfolios, and assigning projects.
Weebly for Education allows a teacher to create a classroom website and blog
easily, manage student’s accounts, accept assignments online, and keep parents
involved and up to date on student’s progress throughout the year.
Weebly
for Education provides a well- protected environment for students, where they
can create websites, complete assignments, post blogs, while adding multimedia
features, like videos, photos, podcasts, and so much more.
I’ve
created many Weebly websites, individually and with group members, and it makes
presenting information interactive and exciting. Using Weebly to present allows
the audience to view videos and pictures of what is being presented to gain a
better understanding of the content. The comment feature allows us to provide feedback
to the presenter or reflect on what was presented. Weebly is very user
friendly, easy to manage, and making learning fun! Great tool!

Wordle:
Wordle
is used for generating “word clouds” from words and/ or phrases you provide.
You can customize the fonts, layouts, and color schemes to make it fit your
liking. You can print out the word clouds and post them, or save them in a
Wordle gallery to share with others.
Teachers could use the "word clouds" to have students reflect on topics or discussions or use it as a creative anticipatory activity. At our school, our principal had the teachers create a "word cloud" on what we thought made a successful student. We shared our word clouds with our coworkers and have it posted in our classroom. The image above is the word cloud I created.
